4-Piston Big Brake Kits

4-Piston Big Brake Kits

Four pistons is where most serious street builds should start — and for lighter cars, where they should finish. VINIC 4-piston big brake kits pair compact forged calipers with high-carbon rotors in one complete brake pad, rotor and caliper kit: everything matched, engineered per vehicle, and boxed together. The M30 and SV40 lead the range for hot hatches, sedans and coupes, with the M40 rear kit completing four-corner upgrades.

The 4-Piston Line-Up

M30 — the compact front kit for lighter platforms, proven on the Honda Civic (M30-001T with 300 mm rotors). SV40 — a step up in rotor size and thermal capacity for heavier street cars. M40 — the matching rear 4-piston that completes a four-corner conversion. Every caliper is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum on our 1,000-ton press and finished on 4-axis CNC machines.

Tight on wheel clearance? Our narrow-body C Series calipers measure just 126 mm and clear many factory wheels with no spacers. Send your wheel diameter, width and offset and we verify fitment before quoting.

4 Pistons — Or Something Else?

Heavier sedans and SUVs usually suit a 6-piston kit; electronic-parking-brake cars should see the DJ4 mechatronic rear caliper for the rear axle. The full range is on the big brake kits page — or just tell us your car and we will spec it.

4-Piston Kit FAQ

Are 4 pistons enough for a street performance car?

For hot hatches and lighter sedans, absolutely. A forged 4-piston caliper over a larger high-carbon rotor transforms pedal feel and fade resistance. Heavy sedans, SUVs and serious track builds should step up to 6 pistons — but know that the thermal capacity comes mainly from the larger, heavier rotor; the extra pistons improve clamping force distribution and pedal feel.

Will a 4-piston big brake kit fit under my factory wheels?

Often yes — compact 4-piston bodies and our 126 mm narrow-body C Series clear many factory wheels with no spacers. Send your wheel specs and we confirm caliper-to-wheel clearance before you buy.

What comes in a brake pad, rotor and caliper kit?

Everything: forged calipers, high-carbon rotors, compound-matched pads, QC/T970 braided lines and one-piece vehicle-specific brackets. One box, bolt-on, no parts-bin hunting.

How much does a 4-piston big brake kit cost?

VINIC kits are dealer-level forged hardware at factory-direct pricing. Tell us your year, make and model for an exact quote including shipping options by DHL/UPS air or sea freight.
